What is a Marketing Manager?
The B2B Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation among Clark-Reliance current and prospective customers.  This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong grasp of digital marketing, creative content generation, brand management, and analytics.
 
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field with at least 5 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in a digital-first or SaaS environment.
 

 
Duties and Responsibilities
  1.  Marketing Strategy & Planning:
    1. Develop and implement comprehensive B2B marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
    2. Identify target markets, customer personas, and key value propositions.
    3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Leadership) to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
    4. Negotiate and manage contracts with marketing suppliers and service suppliers.
    5. Develop and oversee annual marketing budget.
  2. Digital Marketing:
    1. Oversee digital marketing campaigns across email, SEO/SEM, display advertising, social media, and marketing automation platforms.
    2. Optimize digital channels to increase engagement, lead quality, and conversion rates.
  3. Website Management:
    1. Manage and optimize company website for UX, SEO, and lead generation.
    2. Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure timely updates and performance improvements.
    3. Track and report on web analytics to improve conversion funnels and content performance.
  4. Content Generation & Creative Marketing:
    1. Develop compelling B2B content including case studies, white papers, blog posts, videos, infographics, and email campaigns.
    2. Lead content calendar planning and execution to support campaigns and brand messaging.
    3. Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and design across all materials.
  5. Product Marketing Campaigns:
    1. Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and updates.
    2. Create product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement tools for B2B audiences.
    3. Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform campaigns.
  6. Marketing Analytics:
    1. Measure performance of marketing initiatives and campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM/MA platforms.
    2. Provide actionable insights and reports to guide strategy and budget allocation.
    3. Establish KPIs and benchmarks for ongoing campaign optimization.
  7. Brand Management:
    1. Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, materials, and communications.
    2. Develop brand guidelines and manage their implementation across internal and external stakeholders.
    3. Enhance brand reputation through thought leadership, PR, and strategic partnerships.
  8. Marketing Communications and Events:
    1. Participate and plan promotional events where prospective customers meet – conferences, trade shows, speakers' bureaus and industry relations programs.
    2. Oversee distribution of literature.
    3. Develop, proof, and disseminate customer and channel communications.
  9. Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company.
  10. Maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
  11. Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
  12. Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
 
 
Required Experience and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in a digital-first or SaaS environment.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in marketing technology tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, CMS platforms).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
  • Technical knowledge of the content management solution, Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience preferred. 
  • Experience with marketing design software preferred (Canva, Photoshop, etc.).
 
Physical and Technical Environment

 
  • Minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop in a normal office environment
  • Ability to routinely travel throughout multi-floor office and shop area, walking, climbing stairs, utilizing elevator.
  • Occasional travel required, exposure to varying environments and cultures at the job site, changing deadlines, strict time constraints.
